Introducing The Motherhood Collection

I am so SO excited to offer this new type of session. 

The journey of becoming a mother is a beautiful and powerful transformation that is really about the creation of two individuals, not just one. Because each time a new baby is born a new mother is born as well, whether it's her first time or tenth. Each time is new. Each time is different. 

After photographing many maternity sessions and experiencing it for myself, I decided to honor this process by creating something that I wished I could’ve had: a book showcasing each pregnancy at the peak of its beauty and power and the tender first months of when mom and the rest of the family is getting to know their newest member.

I created The Motherhood Collection to celebrate and beautifully document this life changing experience. This collection includes not just one, but two custom designed photoshoot experiences complete with professionally styled wardrobe, hair and makeup. The photoshoots are carefully spaced apart: the first when the mother is 7 months into her pregnancy journey and the second when the baby is 3-4 months old. The collection is complete with a breathtakingly beautiful custom designed album showcasing this incredible moment in the family’s life. 

I am incredibly excited to work with women and families who want to honor this beautiful experience the way I do.

Even though the best time to actually photograph a maternity session is between 6-8 months, its best to start everything much more in advance. First it gives us more planning time, more time to design, shop and create. Second, I offer a plan option for this extended type of session so if that appeals to you it offers you more flexibility. And third it gives you your first pick of dates.
