A lot of times we hit a MILESTONE birthday and it causes us to reflect on things we haven’t done, things we’d like to do, things that bring us joy, etc. Devan’s why is one of those times—she booked as a way to celebrate her 40TH BIRTHDAY—And can we take a moment to appreciate how good Devan makes 40 look!

Devan’s Why: “I decided to book a session with Jessica because my 40th birthday was coming up and I wanted to treat myself. I had been on a path of SELF-DISCOVERY and this session (really an EXPERIENCE!") was actually an outlet for me creatively as well as it marking a monumental time in my life—in most women’s lives! Plus it’s just FUN to dress up and take pictures sometimes. We shouldn’t need an excuse (or milestone birthday!) to treat ourselves with pretty pictures just because we are turning 40, but if the shoe fits…”
