Tarot Series: The Magician

As within so without
As above so below

The Magician card carries the message that you are the bringer of your own magic.

It's a reminder of the power of your thoughts and inspired action: the beginning and the follow through.

All 1's in the Tarot are considered seed cards. Whatever we want to grow, first we must plant the seed. The Magician being the 1 in the Major
Arcana is the ultimate seed card.
The Magician points to both the Sky and the Earth showing the importance of the relationship between Thought & Action; Ideas into Matter.
On her table are the materials we all have available to us: emotions (cup); thoughts (sword); inspired energy (wand); and physical matter (pentacle). These are your tools for creation.

So what do you want to grow? What do you want to create? What do you want to see manifest in your life? There's great power in clarity.

Get clear on what you want. Then ask for it with confidence.

Start a journal - this is what I'm making happen today.
Make a daily ritual around creating, working and showing up. Your energy is one of the most valuable things you possess.

Change your focus, change your reality.
Evoke your magic.

When The Magician comes to you reversed it's still a reminder of the power of your thoughts.

What thoughts are you having? Do they serve you? If not let them go. What actions are you taking? Are they based in inspiration or in fear or lack?

Pay attention to what you've already started and meet the challenge points and follow through. This is how you build confidence and self esteem. If you find yourself in a situation you do not want, consider this a blessing because now you are even more clear on what you do want. There is no failure, only learning.

A reversed Magician also speaks to misdirected energy. Are you living a life that makes room for the magic you've already started? What's standing in your way?
