These 4 Things Will Help You Stay Calm When Life Seems Crazy

  1. Organize and de-clutter, your surroundings oftentimes reflect your inner state. Throwing away things that are no longer useful or things that don’t make you feel good are great ways of restoring and resetting your energy. Making your space feel good is vital.

  2. Drink more water. I know it doesn’t sound like it could be related but trust me, life flows more smoothly when you are hydrated properly.

  3. Morning Pages/ Journaling: especially that morning mind dump. This can be done any way you want really. HERE’S MY METHOD

  4. Gratitude Check. Name 5 things you are grateful for at any moment that anxiety or stress starts to arise. Focus on how they make you feel for 10 seconds. Do this any time you find yourself starting or already feeling tense. It makes you see what truly matters. You’ll realize the things that are stressing you are probably not as big of a deal as you think they are. And even if they are and they are out of your control, worrying about them will do nothing expect rob your present moment of peace. Stay focused on the good things (especially if you are feeling helpless).
